Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by CDRateWise, 265 Franklin St, Boston, MA 02110 ("CDRateWise", "we").

Information we collect

• Information you provide in our form: CD preferences, name, email, phone, state and ZIP code, and your consent choices.
• Technical and attribution data: pages visited, referring URL, campaign parameters (such as UTM and GCLID), browser type, and a one-way hash of your IP address used for fraud prevention.
• Cookie data, subject to your cookie choices.

How we use information

To respond to your enquiry, provide relevant CD information, prevent spam and fraud, measure the effectiveness of our website and advertising (where you've consented), and meet legal obligations.

Sharing

When you submit an enquiry through CDRateWise, your details may be shared with the financial institutions or brokerage firms whose products you asked about, so they can follow up with you directly. CDRateWise may receive a referral fee from these partners when an enquiry leads to a new account. This compensation does not affect the rates you are offered, and we never sell your information to unrelated third parties.

We use service providers for hosting, analytics and communications. We do not include personal information in analytics or advertising tracking events.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw marketing consent at any time, change cookie preferences, and — depending on your state of residence (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut or others) — request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Contact us at hello@cdratewise.co.uk.

Retention and security

We retain enquiry data only as long as needed for the purposes above and use reasonable safeguards to protect it.

Cookies

Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you opt in. See our Cookie Policy to change your choices.

Children

This website is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the new version on this page with a revised date.
